Tickets printed and dispatched
The official ticket designs were announced by Japan Rugby 2019 earlier this year. The designs cleverly blend the traditional Japanese artform of Musha-e, or Warrior Art with Rugby World Cup 2019 themed motifs. The three ticket designs capture both the strong sense of tradition and deep spirit of innovation that Japan is famous for.
Delivery of Rugby World Cup 2019 official hospitality tickets have commenced, with the target of printing and delivering to 13,000 customers before the tournament begins. Anticipation and excitement worldwide are sure to build considerably as fans start receiving their tickets and the realisation sets in that Rugby World Cup 2019 is just around the corner.
Response from the market has been extremely positive with sales to date exceeding expectations. There has been huge interest from both international and Japanese markets, especially for the Japan matches which are almost sold out. Japan has proven to be a popular destination to visit with 30% of hospitality purchasers coming from 39 differing countries promising a truly international atmosphere.
